Getting started with Ficiel

Ficiel starts by showing you what's asleep in your messages, before asking you for anything else. Here's the path, screen by screen, so you know what to expect.

Step 1: your email and phone number

Everything starts at app.ficiel.io/start. You enter your email and your phone number, then click "Continue". Your number is only asked once: the app won't ask for it again later.

No credit card at this point. The screen shows "Step x of 4" so you always know where you are.

Already have an account? Use "Log in", or go straight to app.ficiel.io/login.

Step 2: connect your Instagram

You enter your Instagram username and password, then click "Connect my Instagram". Instagram may send you a verification code, so keep your phone close.

Two things really matter here:

• A professional account (Business or Creator). On a personal account, Instagram only shows a small part of your conversations.
• Ficiel never stores your password. It's only used to open the connection.

Step 3: reading your history

While Ficiel reads your conversations, you land on the "Before you start" screen: a short video and a few questions to introduce your business to Kord, Ficiel's agent. Every question can be skipped. Your answers go straight into Kord's settings, so you won't have to give them again.

Ficiel only reads: nothing is sent during this step. If reading takes a while, you can close the page. It keeps going without you, and you get an email as soon as your number is ready.

When it's ready, the "See my number" button turns on.

Step 4: your number

Ficiel shows you the dormant conversations it found, meaning the people worth writing to again, along with an estimate of your dormant cash. Nothing has been sent: you decide what happens next.

If your conversations are still arriving, the number can keep climbing while you look at it. Instagram sometimes delivers the history of a freshly connected account little by little.

Then: the 10-day trial

To go further, click "Start for free". That's the only moment your card is asked for: it starts a 10-day trial, $0 today, and the first charge comes on day 11. No commitment, pause or stop anytime.

Your first steps in the app

Once the trial is running, two habits are enough to get going:

• Open Kord's settings and fill in what's missing (your offer, your booking link, the way you talk). See Kord and follow-ups.
• Every morning, look at the follow-ups Kord prepared on your dashboard, read them and send the ones you like. See Review and send.
