Kord and follow-ups
Updated 28 October 2026
Kord is Ficiel's agent: it reads your conversations, spots the people worth following up with and drafts the messages in your style. It suggests, it never sends on its own: every message goes out when you approve it.
The morning batch of follow-ups
Every morning, Kord prepares your follow-ups. By default the batch starts at 7:30 am, your local time. If you've set quiet hours on a channel and 7:30 am falls inside them, the batch starts when those quiet hours end.
You'll find them on your dashboard: click "Review", read each card and send the ones you like.
What you can do with a card
Each card is one person and one ready message. You can:
- Send the message as is, or after editing it;
- Stop suggesting: the person is removed from your follow-ups;
- Suggest again later: the person leaves your follow-ups and comes back in your batch on the date you pick.
For "Suggest again later", you choose how long from now: 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month (selected by default) or 3 months. On that day, the person comes back in the morning batch.
Changed your mind? The "Postponed follow-ups" list shows each contact and their return date, with a "Cancel postponement" button.
Friends and other channels
Kord may suggest a friend or a partner who has nothing to do in your follow-ups. "Stop suggesting" removes them, and the Ignore tag takes a person out of follow-ups.
When the same person has written to you on another channel in the last 14 days (and their records are linked), Kord won't suggest following up on the channel where the conversation went quiet.
Kord never follows up on its own with someone who never replied to you: it prepares, you send.
Giving Kord your instructions
Everything is set in Kord's settings. The sections that matter most:
- Your business: what you do and who for;
- Your way of speaking: casual or formal, emojis, reply language;
- What Kord should know: your offer, your prices, your pages. Without it, Kord stays vague as soon as a lead asks a precise question;
- Your instructions: your free zone, for anything you want it to apply;
- Link to share: your booking link. Kord only sends the links you give it.
Prefer to write in plain words? "Adjust by talking" lets you describe what you want, and Kord updates its settings.
Kord learns from your edits
Every time you approve, edit or reject one of its suggestions, Kord draws rules about the way you write. You'll find them in the Learning section. Nothing is applied until you've adopted it.
In short
- Every morning, Kord prepares your follow-ups: "Review" on the dashboard.
- On each card: Send, Stop suggesting, or Suggest again later (1 week to 3 months).
- The clearer your instructions and link, the more its messages sound like you.
